Spins in Clover Time pay for one roll of your race, social class or trait at the Hage Priest. Special Spins do the same job but are guaranteed to land on Epic or better. Neither kind can roll a grimoire: grimoires come from the Grimoire Tower and cost Mana Crystals.
Quick Start
What are Spins?
Roll tokens for your race, social class and trait. One Spin is one roll in one of those three categories.
What do you need before spinning?
Spins from codes (join the AnimeCore Studio Roblox group first) and a trip to the Hage Priest or the Customize → Rolls menu.
What is the smartest first move?
Spend regular Spins on rolls where a Rare result helps, such as Merchant for Yuls, and keep Special Spins for chasing Epic-or-better races.
What is the difference between Spins and Special Spins?
The Roblox developer-product descriptions define both. A Spin is “1 spin to roll with in the lobby”; a Special Spin is “a Race, Social Class or Trait roll guaranteed Epic or better”.
| Spin | Special Spin | |
|---|---|---|
| What it rolls | One race, social class or trait | One race, social class or trait |
| Lowest possible result | Common | Epic |
| Best possible result | Secret (Devil race) or Mythic | Secret (Devil race) or Mythic |
| Other sources documented | Codes, bundles, subscription monthly rewards | Codes, Big Starter Bundle |
| Robux price, single (Oct 8, 2026) | 19 | 49 |
| Robux price, pack of 10 | 129 | 419 |
Because a Special Spin removes Common, Uncommon and Rare from the pool, the remaining odds jump. On a social class roll, for example, Sovereign goes from 0.56% on a Spin to 10.77% on a Special Spin. Save Special Spins for the roll where you most want a top result.
Where do you use Spins?
Destructoid and Gamepur both describe the same entry points. Open the Menu at the top right, choose Customize, then the Rolls tab. You can also talk to the Priest in the church in Hage Village, the starting village. The developer-product text calls this NPC the Hage Priest.
Two related Robux products affect the roll screen:
- Skip Spin (159 Robux, permanent) makes every race, social class and trait roll land at once. You switch it on or off in the priest’s menu, and the listing states your results are the same either way.
- Race Storage, Social Class Storage and Trait Storage (129 Robux each) unlock one extra slot to store a result of that type. The default slot count is not documented.
What do social classes do?
Social classes add Mana, Mana Regen, EXP and Yuls (the in-game money) bonuses. Higher classes also add Health Regen and Stamina Regen. Rates and bonuses below are from the official Trello cards.
| Social class | Rarity | Spin rate | Special Spin rate | Bonuses |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peasant | Common | 49.70% | — | Mana +1%, Mana Regen +2.5%, EXP +1%, Yuls +1% |
| Commoner | Uncommon | 30.38% | — | Mana +2.5%, Mana Regen +5%, EXP +2.5%, Yuls +2.5% |
| Merchant | Rare | 14.72% | — | Mana +2.5%, Mana Regen +7.5%, EXP +3.5%, Yuls +10% |
| Noble | Epic | 3.21% | 61.73% | Health Regen +7.5%, Stamina Regen +7.5%, Mana +6%, Mana Regen +12.5%, EXP +6%, Yuls +7.5% |
| Royal | Legendary | 1.43% | 27.50% | Health Regen +12.5%, Stamina Regen +12.5%, Mana +12.5%, Mana Regen +20%, EXP +12.5%, Yuls +15% |
| Sovereign | Mythic | 0.56% | 10.77% | Health Regen +20%, Stamina Regen +20%, Mana +17.5%, Mana Regen +30%, EXP +17.5%, Yuls +22.5% |
Merchant is the odd one out: its +10% Yuls beats Noble’s +7.5%, and at 14.72% it is far easier to land. Destructoid points to Merchant as an easy cash boost for the same reason.
What do traits do?
There are nine traits. The three Common traits share the same 16.56% rate, and the two Uncommon traits share 15.19%.
| Trait | Rarity | Spin rate | Special Spin rate | Bonuses |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steady Hands | Common | 16.56% | — | Stamina +4%, Stamina Regen +7.5% |
| Thick Skin | Common | 16.56% | — | Health +4%, Health Regen +7.5% |
| Coin Eye | Common | 16.56% | — | Yuls +5%, Mana Regen +2.5% |
| Fast Learner | Uncommon | 15.19% | — | EXP +10%, Mana Regen +5% |
| Iron Lungs | Uncommon | 15.19% | — | Stamina +2.5%, Stamina Regen +20% |
| High Mana | Rare | 14.72% | — | Mana +25, Mana Regen +17.5% |
| Strong Body | Epic | 3.21% | 61.73% | Health +7.5%, Health Regen +22.5%, Stamina +5%, Stamina Regen +12.5% |
| Mana Sensitive | Legendary | 1.43% | 27.50% | Mana +12.5%, Mana Regen +35%, Health Regen +10% |
| Chosen One | Mythic | 0.56% | 10.76% | Health, Stamina and Mana +10% each; Health, Stamina and Mana Regen +25% each; EXP +7.5% |
Fast Learner is worth noticing early: its +10% EXP is the largest EXP bonus of any trait, higher even than Chosen One’s +7.5%. Race odds and bonuses have their own page, the Clover Time races guide.
How do you get Spins in Clover Time?
Codes
Codes are the main free source, and most Clover Time codes so far have included Spins. A few also gave Special Spins: IGN, PCGamesN, Destructoid and clovertime.wiki agree that MEGADROP, 15KLIKES and 600KVISITS each include one. The official Trello codes card lists those three as active with expiry dates between October 11 and 13, 2026. Check the Clover Time codes page for the current list before you redeem.
Subscriptions
The Trello board lists monthly Spins in three subscriptions: Arcane Elite (40 Spins a month), Clover Elite (15) and Royal Member (5). These perks are confirmed on the board, but the board’s prices are base prices with regional pricing applied, so the amount you pay may differ.
Robux products and bundles
The Roblox developer-product listing, checked October 8, 2026, sells Spins on their own and inside bundles:
| Product | Robux | Spins included |
|---|---|---|
| Spins x1 | 19 | 1 Spin |
| Spins x10 | 129 | 10 Spins |
| Special Spins x1 | 49 | 1 Special Spin |
| Special Spins x10 | 419 | 10 Special Spins |
| Adventurer Bundle | 999 | 10 Spins (plus a Grimoire Bag, chests and potions) |
| Chest Hoard Bundle | 2499 | 25 Spins (plus 40 chests) |
| Big Starter Bundle | 2599 | 25 Spins and 10 Special Spins (plus three grimoires and more) |
| Dark Mana Bundle | 9999 | 50 Spins (plus the Dark Mana Compass, Crazy Cyclone and more) |
Note: Prices here are the Roblox API values on October 8, 2026. The Trello board shows different “base” prices for several products and says regional pricing is on, so the two sources are conflicting and the price you see in game can differ.
No in-game activity (quests, bosses, chests) is documented as a Spin source on the Trello board. If you find one, tell us via the contact page.
Why aren’t my Spins working?
You are trying to roll a grimoire
Spins and Special Spins never roll grimoires. The Grimoire Tower uses Mana Crystals, with a pity of 50 for Epic, 100 for Legendary and 250 for Mythic. The grimoire acquisition guide explains that system.
A Special Spin can’t give you Merchant or High Mana
Special Spins only roll Epic or better. If you want a Rare result such as Merchant or High Mana, use regular Spins.
A code didn’t give you Spins
You must join the AnimeCore Studio Roblox group before a code will redeem. Codes on the official board usually expire 2 to 7 days after they are posted, so older codes in videos often fail.
Skip Spin didn’t improve your luck
Skip Spin only removes the roll animation. The product description states results are identical with it on or off.
FAQ
Can you use spins to get grimoires in Clover Time?
No. Spins and Special Spins only roll race, social class and trait. Grimoires are rolled at the Grimoire Tower with Mana Crystals.
How do you get Special Spins for free in Clover Time?
Codes are the only documented free source. MEGADROP, 15KLIKES and 600KVISITS each gave one Special Spin, according to four guide sites.
What are the odds of getting Chosen One?
0.56% on a regular Spin and 10.76% on a Special Spin, per the official Trello trait card. That works out to about 179 Spins or about 9 Special Spins on average.
Are spins shared between race, social class and trait?
Yes. The product listings describe one Spin as a roll for “a Race, Social Class or Trait”, so all three draw from the same pool.
